Bad CAPsMAN on RB2011UiAS v. 6.47.9

Thu Apr 29, 2021 6:01 pm

Do users constantly complain about the quality of the connection.
The capsman controller is RB2011UiAS.
And three antennas RBwAP2nDr2.
Tell me where to start?

Is it a statement?
And three antennas RBwAP2nDr2.
They are not antennas but wireless CAPs(controlled access points)
Tell me where to start?
Start with(recommend to start with video linked below and FAQ) providing caps-man config:
caps-man export hide-sensitive
also check wireless clients signal+noise strength (caps-man -> registration table), scan your area to check for interference with other radios (APs) from each CAP and each frequency 2.4\5GHz(caps-man -> CAP-interface ->open interface -> press scan), using Access List of CAPs-MAN is a good idea

Every beginner should see this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCB4hL0f1VQ it reveals lots of the basics of 802.11 protocols

This FAQ is very useful: https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Wireless_FAQ

I would complain for the network being 2.4GHz only. As that band is completely saturated (depending on the location and wireless networks and other sources of interference). Looking forward to the export (as well).
