I've recently had an RB4011iGS delivered and have installed it on my home network but have noticed that my WiFi network speeds have decreased by up to 300Mbps on 5Ghz. My network is a residential 1Gbps line provided by Virgin Media, UK based, and the modem is set to modem only mode with a bridged connection on the router. Ethernet speeds are 1Gbps as expected.
Disclaimer: I am by no means a networking expert and it has been almost 10 years since I last studied networking in college. I purchased this router to study some network concepts again.
I have configured the router using the easy setup wizard which, I understand, the system picks generic settings which may not match my requirements.
I would appreciate anybody's time with this one.
This is the configuration from the router.
