Anyone have do this, what do you think, will work or the link will go down because the arp entries, viruses.I have try with another equipments not so performant like MT and the link drive crazy 800ms pings,1000
I try with MT but with senao NMP8602 and the link not works when i have a trafic 1Mbps pings in gateway was the same very big 800-1000 semnal good
point A with omni antena12db and point b with19db

1. Make sure you are using NStream. Without NStream, you will get high latency when the link is pushed hard.

2. Loose the Senao 8602 cards and try the R52, R52H, SR2, or XR2.

3. If this is really supposed to be a point-to-point link, then replace the Omni with a directional antenna. While an Omni sends in a 360 degree pattern, it also hears in a 360 degree pattern, thus it hears noise from everywhere. A simple panel antenna will get you better signal, less noise, and more performance even at the short distance of 1.5km (it also makes you a better RF citizen -- if you care).

A pair of RB532's with the proper radio cards and antennas should easily get you 10Mbps, full-duplex performance on this link (assuming no noise or interference).

JJCinAZ,

i have setup a routed network,
it's like this:

Network A (10.1.5.0/24)
|
|
Router A (mode=station)
|
|
Router B (mode=ap-bridge)
|
|
Network B(10.1.2.0/24)

the direction is from network A to network B,
the link was ok, it shows connected.
- how to forward all network A, so network B can see it?
- how to hide network B from network A?
- i have been doing bandwidth testing, and the througput was very low,
rather than using layer 2 network... do you have any idea?
please help...
