Link becoming unavailable

Sat Oct 06, 2007 12:50 am

we have a 30 mile link that seems to stop responding every once and a while

it is a 153 with sr5 29 db grid -69
to a 512 with sr5 29 db grid .70

it will still be associated in the registration list but ip is broken and you can not mac telnet crossed the link either

once i reset the local link by disabling and re enabling the interface it comes right back up

any ideas???

Is compression turned on? There have been numerous reports of compression causing this problem.
