Pigtail over RB133 CPU Cooler

Tue Apr 15, 2008 12:32 pm

Hi,
i don't know is this the right section, but i think this is the most close to my question :)
When i install the pigtail in my rb133 box, the wire goes over the CPU cooler. If i try to go other way, the pigtail is bend.
i put additional isolation over the pigtail, but i don't know is the heat high enough to make some problem?

Thanks

Question:-

Why don't you just dismount the RB and rotate it 180 degrees and remount???

Just a thought..

the RB is mounted in Indoor Aluminium RB133/RB133c case, can't be rotated.

from this question can i understand that is bad for the pigtail to go over the rb133 cpu cooler, even with additional thermo-insulation?

If you have shrouded (covered) the pigtail with some insultation then it will be fine.

The Heat Sink gets warm but certainly not hot...
