Signal range

Sat Jun 21, 2008 2:03 pm

in Connect List v.3 now has a signal range option, the default is -120..120

What does this actually mean?

If I want to prevent APs associating at less than -90dBm what values should I use - would -120..90 be correct?

I tried -90.120, -80.120, even -70.120 - they still register.

Are you shure that the Connect-List will be used? Default-Authenticate = Off?

This works fine in all our installations.
