i'm affraid, nobody want to answer to your post, 'cause actually distance is not important. not so much. with good equipment it shuld be alright even if antennas are in touch each other...

ok fine. I asked you the question as I am not getting the good results with these two antenna which are running with 28 dbm of TX power ! Is th TX power too high ? I am planning to cover 3-4 KM radius only with 16 dbi sector antenna. Any suggestion?

Here in the US that would be able the legal power limit. I would suggest looking at the regulations in your country. Also, you can always turn the power down.

Another question. For 3 KM radius WIFI service, how much TX power should I use in AP ? My tower is in 105 Feet from ground and my clients are 30-50 feet from ground in 3 KM radius.

Any suggestion ?

Regards,
Litu

I would use a couple CM9's or R52's.

You should get up to 10 km range.

10 ft spacing is what we shoot for, more if you can. I would highly recommend a channel filter too for best performance. If the sectors are facing opposite directions you can get away with less as the directional nature of the antennas will provide for a good bit of separation. Keep your channels at opposite ends of the band if possible. At what strength does is the other sector seen at? Try and get them in at -50 or lower.
