Thu Sep 18, 2008 4:56 pm

Hello,

I want to configure bonding for 4 wireless links on two computers:

[eth](computer a) [wlan0]===[wlan0] [eth](computer a)
bonding1(wlan0,wlan1,wlan2) [wlan1]===[wlan1] bonding1(wlan0,wlan1,wlan2)
[wlan2]===[wlan2]

Problem is that wifi cards (wlan1,wlan2) disconnects after create bonding.

Below is my wireless conf:
(computer a)
wlan0: mode=bridge ssid=r0 frequency=5210 band=5ghz-turbo wds-mode=static wds-default-bridge=none
wlan1: mode=bridge ssid=r0 frequency=5290 band=5ghz-turbo wds-mode=static wds-default-bridge=none
wlan2: mode=bridge ssid=r0 frequency=5800 band=5ghz-turbo wds-mode=static wds-default-bridge=none

at (computer b) i tried mode station and station-wds

What am i doing wrong?

migo -

Your 'text art' map doesn't make sense....

Typically the issue you are describing would be that you didn't change the MAC address on the bond interface. Read the manual and the wiki about bonding - it is very specific about changing the MAC for the bond interface (not the Wlan card or eth, the interface you create when you when you make a bonding interface).

You do NOT have to use L2TP or other tunnels to create the bond - it CAN be used but is not necessary in your application.
