Web proxy in 3.14 is still not very suitable for enterprise use since there is no control
as to which headers are transmitted (as is done in squid.conf for example)

header_access Via deny all
header_access Proxy-Connection deny all
header_access X-Forwarded-For deny all

Too much information about the internal network is passed on the proxied requests.
That is a shame since otherwise, the transparent proxy with the DSS tricks for traffic
shaping work awesome.

I believe you are talking about versions 2.9.x

ip webproxy is squid.
ip proxy is the new proxy entirely created by MikroTik.

I believe so much in Squid cause i use it in different Linux boxes, but in MikroTik it is a little bit unstable (ie, cache gets full and blocks the router, false error messages, etc)

Ip proxy instead, is doing great improvements with each release. With the latest release it seem very stable.

Hello!

Can we dedicate a cache space on IP proxy?
Please, can someone explain how ip proxy works?

Thank you!
