Identifying the type of Radio being used in a MT?

Fri Apr 03, 2009 12:01 pm

Is there some way to identify the type of radio (r52,r52h,r5h,XR2,XR5 etc) using the MT so I don’t have to take the back of the unit and physically look and see?

thanks.

As MAC addresses are assigned by manufacterer it should be possible to identify it.

It is difficult to figure out antenna and location details as well. Use the comments fields for radio card, antenna type and polarity, and location.
