Hello,
is it a problem when using a dc grounded omni + extra surge protection (no gas)?
We have now the fourth card that has degraded receive signal strength and we have no idea why...

Check out this post. Scroll about half way through it and you will see some pictures of what you can do. We started doing this and it helped out tremedously!!
