Ideal Signal Strength in a PMP 5.8Ghz wireless cell

Mon Sep 28, 2009 10:55 pm

Hi all,

I'm starting to implement my first 5.8Ghz. This cell will work with a RB433AH, a R52H and a setorial antenna (17dBi - 90 degrees).

I want to know what's the ideal Signal Strength (dBm) range to mantain my client radios into?

Best regards

Fabrício

opa...

acredito que de -75 pra cima ja tá de bom tamanho.
tenho clientes que se conectam bem -78 ~ -76, então eu usaria o -75 como parâmetro.

Less than -75dbm is acceptable.
