Extensive Data Loss, only signal noise or hardware bug?

Thu Oct 08, 2009 6:24 pm

After various suggestions that you have kindly give me in this forum
to solve serious problem of Extensive Data Loss but for me with any
solution, I have decided to travel an other way...

I have installed 2 identical CPE (RB411 with interface type Atheros
AR5413) so, same model, hardware, firmware, signal, noise,
energy power, uptime, location (facing a few centimeters away),
oriented to same emission at 2 miles of distance, color........ and
log time sincronized by ntp.
Well ..... I had a surprising result to say the least!!!

After vary months of log debugs, both the CPE had extensive data loss
but also IN DIFFERENT TIME AND DAYS!!!!!

If they have a really disturb of signal why they don't disconnect in
same time?????????????????????????

Why hold hardware give me many fewer problems with extensive data
loss?

Please is there anyone of you that have do same type of test???

I AM SORRY, BUT AT THIS POINT I REALLY DOUBT THAT THE PROBLEM IS ONLY
OF DISORDERS IN THE AIR!!!!

Hello, I have the same problems when I use the RB433... RB532 did not happen when I used... MT attributes the problem to low signal to noise or other causes that are not dependent on them ... would be low signal RX-61 and TX-65? ... I have no problems with interference from radio frequency.
The responses of MT do not help to solve the problem.
I changed some equipment and switching to Ubiquiti, it work much better, no problem of extensive data loss or sent deauth or disconnections various
I have read many forums where we exposed the problem of extensive data loss and sent deauth or no beacon .. but still not been resolved
If MT does not help, because he was still following MT?
Sooner or later they would realize their mistake to those who have made their purchases of large size, but that will change their equipment to buy other brands that give you the reliability, even paying a little extra.
