Burst time will allow continuous transmission for the set duration. Not so bad on a P2P but can cause problems on P2MP as no other radios can communicate until the transmission is complete. This could cause latency issues and enable some clients to "hog" the AP traffic at the expense of others.

Correct. Use with caution with point to multi point setups, as all other radios are not being accessed for the time of the burst. If you set the burst to 1 second you will have at least a 1 second latency before the next radio is sent data. Using Nstreme will likely provide better results.
