How to measure antenna gain

Wed Jan 20, 2010 2:56 pm

Hi all.
I need to test the gain of antennas before installing it.
I have panels, grid and parabolic antennas.

I need to test the effective gain for different tilt and azimuth.

did someone have hints of how to buil a test system ?

Thanks in advance.

You can check antenna quality measuring for example antenna gain or SWR and compare with producer information. In attachment you can see two same type different company antenna SWR
