Link Long Range

Hi,

I'm having a problem with a link to 42Km.
32.5 dBi Antenna Hyperlink DualPol cards SR71-A, RB433AH.
Signal -56.
When I put traffic passing through the RB's, the link goes down.
If I do the bandwidth test, I get full 20MB. But the link goes down after a few minutes.
Here are the settings of the 2 sides.

I tried several different configurations, but can not establish the connection.
Does anyone have an idea?

PS:
In a new test, I realized that using UDP packets the connection does not fall, if use tcp with 20 simultaneous connections the link falls. But if I use 1 tcp the link does not fall ... and now?
Version 4.5.

Use static ACK settings and enable Nstream.

I'll second that. Nstreme is the only way to get a solid link for that distance.

shouldn't he put the value 32.5 dBi in the antenna-gain (It is 0 in his configuration) ??

Definitely don't both filling out the antenna gain and such
Turn on adaptive noise immunity for "ap & client mode" on both sides

antenna gain value is only used to calculate the eirp output of the antenna for your country in case you set "Frequency Mode" to "regulatory domain".
If not is has no meaning in ROS

"nstream": has issues with 802.11n still not solved. Also has issues with small packages (voip) on furthermore idle links in any a/b/g/n setup. Only use it when your links are always transporting sufficient amounts of traffic.
"antenna gain and such": see my post before this one. If you have reg. domain set it might well be the radio power is set to a low value just to stay within limits of your country.
"adaptive noise immunity": To be set "ap & client mode" on the ap-bridge/bridge radio and "client mode" on the station radio.
Early versions of 4.xROS couldn't handle the "adaptive noise immunity" on ´n´ protocol at all. I am not sure if they entirely do in the last ROS.
I found it makes a difference on the ´station´ running radio but not on the AP

Well, u guys make me feel more confident at least. I have a 1.5 mile link in NY im going to be setting up next week that im worried about, sure makes me feel better when u guys are complaining about issues going 26 miles! lol!!!
