Note! The recently released RouterOS v4.7 contained an uncommon DHCP server problem in some non standard installations, until a fix can be provided, you can use RouterOS v4.6

I hope tomorrow someone from MT staff tells us when the problem could occur. And if that condition could occur on some of our routers that were upgraded - I would downgrade them right away.

I recently had a DHCP issue with v4.7 x86.

remote router: mikrotik dhcp client v4.5
mikrotik dhcp server: v4.7

A remote router obtained a DHCP from my v4.7 router. It showed up leases as "bound". When I tried to ping the remote router, the packets were getting to the remote router, and sent back to the v4.7 router, but the torch never showed any received traffic, only sent traffic.

When I "release/renewed" the remote router's IP, everything was fine, connection was good after that.

This sounds like it might have been the DHCP problem with v4.7.
