2.4 Ghz Interference Remedy

Thu Jul 29, 2010 4:08 pm

Hi any who has the best way of at least overcoming interference on 2.4 using mikrotik as AP and nanostations as CPE. Any settings one has thought or tried that works best. The environment is very noisy (too many wifi equipment)

enable ANI (ap and client mode) on routerOS AP ... use channels 5 or 10 mhz, and if you can work with horizontal polarity, is usually much cleaner than the vertical!. :o

We've found that small pipe bombs strapped to the interfering equipment works wonders :)

Joking of course!
