I don't see a problem. It has been a while since I have used WDS, but it appears to be working ok. The RB433AH is distributing (the 'D' in WDS) the wireless network data to all clients on the network as it should (the Tx value). Only the clients that are online and active are responding (Rx value).
You misunderstood my response a little!
I did not say the setup for your network is ok. I said that WDS is working ok.
Did you notice I said I don't use it. This is why. The WDS network speed is limited to the SLOWEST connection on the network.
If you have a client limited to 256k on that network, I will almost bet that all clients will drop to 256k.
Maybe it is just me, but isn't the purpose of WDS to distribute all packets to all interfaces on the WDS bridge as if the WDS link is a CAT5 cable? If that is the case I don't see how spanning tree protocol will help. It must transmit all packets on all interfaces. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
The purpose of WDS is to interconnect APs without a need of a additional backbone. "all packets to all interfaces" can cause serious bridge loops when packets are broadcast. Spanning tree protocol is there to prevent them.
Hi kirshteins! Are you are saying that by using RSTP, you can "route" each packet on the WDS bridge to the correct interface on the WDS bridge and not to the others, as if it were not WDS and actually routed instead? You mean like my network is now without the additional load of WDS and RSTP?
ADD: Maybe I am not seeing the setup above correctly. I see two radios with about a dozen CPEs connected to each in a WDS bridge. No?

Not exactly "routed". WDS works similar as network of interconnected ethernet switches - host table is used to determine egress ports and RSTP can block ports (according to its topology) to prevent switch loops.
@vmnx: My bad. I guess there is a problem with your WDS. From what I see above, it is working like a hub as I expected, not a switch as kirshteins expected. Might want to create a supout.rif and email it to support(at)mikrotik.com.
@kirshteins: I still do not know what you mean by "not exactly routed".
What planet are you guys deployed on? Proliferation of misinformation is a dangerous business.
Not a single valid explanation of WDS exists in this thread. Unbelievable.
Couldnt even begin to provide help with such misunderstanding of how this stuff works.
The example of the AP must be done by a Photoshop GURU to present that ridiculous screen. Getting all those fonts and lines to line up like a real display can only be described as FM or a really bad joke foisted on this forum...
