for indoor tests you might find this, but normally you don't use patch cables on the roof. if you use regular ethernet cable, there is no problem like this. cables longer than 1m don't have those kinds of connector@uldis
Tested Sxt found it a very good device. One thing is
annoying. There is not enough space to plug in our
standard Ethernet cables with kink protection.
Please talk to your board designer to move the
Ethernetport to the middle of the board by 2cm.
We managed to achieve stable 150Mbit TCP throughput with 2 SXT connected to 2 computers. We used IPerf with 4 threads. Some of our friends established 200Mbit TCP link on 3 km distance. So far, we're happy with the device. Nice job MT!
@t3rm... yes 75 + 75Mbps. And a little update, our friends managed to achieve ~98 + ~98Mbps link on 500m distance.
@MT Staff: When will SXT get CE?
By default the SXT board has only one chain enabled. You need to enable the second chain to use both polarizations.can someone post their config?
I am trying two SXT lvl3 PtP , got the connection up, but can't get more then 30Mbps Either Direction.
Distance is 500 Feet.
