It's been a long time since I've asked this about polling, but now that NStreme's "Out of the bag" so to speak, I was hoping I might get an answer from the experts.
Here's my questions:
1. Does NStreme Polling completely override the CSMA/CA of 802.11, and make it time division duplexing?
2. Does each client get equal time, or are active clients preferred?
3. Does polling help reduce interference because it overrides standard collision detection?
4. In the case of VOIP, is polling capable of maintaining consistent ping times on the small packets?
5. With polling, if there were say 15 clients connected, and there were 30 simultaneous G711u (64k) telephone calls going, will it be able to handle that on 5ghz band, basically reducing the hidden node issues to nothing?
Thanks
