Enable interface logging in 5.6 and you get the status of the Ethernet link in your log. Set the log output for this topic to ´remote´ and use the mail option. Configure your mail settings.
Now you get an e-mail every time the Ethernet status changes. But "under 10Mbps"? Meaning it is disconnected?
Ethernet interface in MT can only do 10/100 and some rb's 1Gbps.

Hi bro..
we notice some of the board will degrade to the 10BaseT mode, and when this thing happened, we only know when customer is complaining (10Mbps subscriber).

Would you mind to tell me more about this?

btw, usually, some time it can fix by upgrade the firmware, some time we need to replace the board.

appreciated it.

It is quite similar to symptoms of the port flapping issue:

Does these 10Mbps interfaces bring itself back up to full speed 100/1000 by itself as well?

I think you have the same port flipping issue, just your port flipping duration is (much?!) longer.
I am not detecting port speed changes, but I am fighting the issue with Netwatch tool and scripts detecting if the interface is actually down or not.

Distilling what could be the issue by what users on the forum report. And hope MT will do the same until they find a solution....

On my RB750G I just rearranged the port use away from affected ports (port1 and port2) and implemented some scripts to kick in to switch over to an alternative ISP connection in case of link down or more generally the primary ISP being unavailable.

I haven't tested it, but maybe invoking interface down and up again will bring it into life again. You can use Netwatch tool for that purpose.
