I think this document is a fake. And a joke. 99% of this is total imagination :)

And if it's not a joke/fake, it's quite sad that somebody believes this. Because it's not true.

It reads more like a disinformation document. It's pretty standard in the corporate world to include the name and contact information for the authors at the start of the document for feedback if it was legitimate.

I'm betting this was created and purposely "leaked" for marketing purposes with full deniability.

In the US would this be considered slander or liable?

As an Alvarion distributor, this doc looks beyond fake.

We rarely have any conflict between platforms. We tailor the solution to the need.

I found some of the information quite comical - they should at least report the correct throughput numbers!

Hi,

If Alvarion wrote this, then they need to get a better english speaking person to fake/write this!

Also, it seems to be comparing the RIC model, ages ago (although for us, still reliable after 5 years of constant use in a hot and humid climate).

What a poor excuse for a document/presentation.

Rgds,
Mark.

But even with the RIC model, 90% of the information is pure lies. Those were never made in china, we always offered 15 month warranty, RMA, we never had any Chinese partners (not that it would be bad), sales numbers are completely made up, there is no extra cost for warranty, and most of the performance/features are also made up.
