specifications of wireless card through winbox

hi my friends
how can we determine the specifications of any wireless card(output power ) ether it build it or not through winbox .i mean that we after run winbox and enter the routerboard programe?

not sure what you are asking. but you can click on interfaces on left side of winbox then click on the radio you want then click on TX power tab at top of winbox. This will show the transmit rate and the output db for each speed.

my dear this is a general information of tx/rx rate with related speed
let my question be more specifice .when you have a labtop with windows xp you can know any thing about hardware of your pc by using control panel----system-----hardware managment
with mikrotik products ..can we know the specifications of the router board components through winbox especially wireless card output power
hope the idea is clear now

No you can't get wireless card specs from within winbox. You can usually get the specs from the wireless card manufactures website.

Is this what you mean?

but why the mikrotik company dosnt add this function ( know every thing about the router board hardware through winbox ) ?

such information is not possible to accurately obtain from most wireless cards.

Hi,

I've often wondered about this and understand the reasoning if one is using other manufacturer's cards. But should it not be possible to at least identify the various Rxxx series of cards that are actually made by Mikrotik themselves? We have most models and since we have quite a few different cards of various vintage, we would like to see this made easier to identify.
