Prblem in signal strength N,nv2

Thu Nov 10, 2011 5:30 pm

Hi all.
I have a 20km link, two 29dbi dish antennas, rb411ah, r52N.
I set bridge-station, antenna gain 0 in the two side.
I have this signal:

What can cause the signals asymmetry in the two chains ?
Normally, signal must be symmetrics ?

thanks

Have you tried moving the AP frequency and note if any changes in signal or CCQ.

Maybe cross connected the chains on both ends in regard to the duo polarity?
I mean, Side A: H-pol+CH0 and V-pol+CH1 and on side B:H-pol+CH1 and V-pol+CH0

If now the H-pol link has more path loss than the V-pol than we could have such differences?
I am only guessing but I have been wondering what would happen if I cross connect my 'n' links this way..
So please check this.
