How to make MPLS on wireless link with NV2 ?

Tue Nov 22, 2011 11:58 am

Hello
Already one month i'm trying to make MPLS/VPLS link through wireless 411ah link.
I need to separate network on station or AP side but not to do transparent bridge
Transparent wds bridge works fine but i need L3 separation on one of the sites.

tried AP bridge and station separated (not in bridge) putting AP bridge in MPLS intrface, putting separate wlan and ethernet interfaces on station as MPLS interfaces.....VPLS interface going UP status DRB (dynamic-running-bgp) put packets not going through this vpls tunnel

it's not my case
i don't need transparent bridge between two same networks.
i had to devide one LAN on 2 different lans on AP or station sites.
but fantasticaly few hours ago i've found solution !!!

wireles modes: ap bridge, station bridge...protocol NV2
AP MPLS = mpls interface - bridge(wlan+ether1) ip address on that bridge
ST MPLS = mpls if1 - wlan1 same NET as on AP
mpls if2 - ether1 - second subnet

before i was trying to do transparent bridge between 2 mpls routers. simple bridge didn't worked. WDS link worked... but i don't need transparent bridge.

problem was in Wireless Mode choice... i have tried everything but simple ap bridge, st bridge.
also i've forgot that pseudobridge not working with NV2.
