lost connection to , got deauth: class 2 frame recieved (6)

Mon Dec 05, 2005 6:03 pm

Every 1 to 3 hours i loose my connection between two mikrotiks 2.9.8 with atheros cards (5213) in 5.8ghz. This never happened inthe past where i was running 2.8.

This is a very short link 400 meters with clear line of site.
The link is configured ptp in bridge and station modes with nstreme.

After the disconnection the connection is immediatelly reconnected. Only some packet got lost and everything is ok for the next few hours.

Anybody can help in solving this problem?
Thanks,
Esteban

The answer:

In retrospection:
Change the frequency.

I have changed frequency yesterday, but the problem still there.
I don't think this has to do with frequency, because when i scan from both sides there is anything else to hear.
Any other hint?
Thanks
Esteban

Okay, I've start again the problem link and I've got the same problem, even changing frequency.

But I saw something strange. After I searched the google I saw that the problem: class 2 frame recieved is described as client that isn't authenticated. Soo I search for the reason there, I saw that my WinBox says that the Security Profile is "", and I could change it to "defualt" soo I log in via SSH and re-set the security profile to deafult. After that I chagned the freq. and now the link is working (I haven't test it how fast is the link, but it seems to work, now it makes about 10 mbits real traffic ...)

Plz test.
