Hi!

To my knowledge UBNT don't answer to MAC Ping

Why don't you ping the IP of the UBNT instead.....

is the wlan1 interface part of a bridge? If so, ping from the bridge interface instead. But as jcem states, the Ubiquiti clients do not support L2 Mac Ping. You can only ping the IP address at L3.

MAC PIng is a protocol specific to Mikrotik. Therefore you can only MAC ping Mikrotiks.

check subnet and default route of the CPE if it matches to your Gateway

UBNT devices such as Nano-station M5 don't support level 2 mac ping which is only available in mikrotik devices.. the best solution is to do the following
check the signal between your AP and UBNT device by using the following path
wireless >>>> registration table >>>> tx/rx signal
you can ping the client PC instead of your UBNT device so go to PPP (if you are using PPPoE Server) go to active connection and ping the username of the client PC (remember user should disable firewall which include windows firewall or any anti virus firewall)..

this is my own method to ping my remote clients
