Dbii card mis readings TX power

Sat May 05, 2012 9:39 am

Dear all
i have orderd a DBII F-50 PRO, and i fix it in a RB 411 AH with ROS version 5.11. but when i configure it i see a low tx power values. its show only 19 dbm max. while in its data sheet it shows 27 dbm. i have replaced it in another RB 411 AH with version 5.4 but issue remain unchanged. now i guess it will also show poor signals levels when i use it for a wireless link.

where is the problem?

Thx and regards

The spec says 5 dBm offset, and the spec total is for both chains aggregated. So, what you see is just fine. BTW, one of the best cards in the market together with the Compex ESD series - IMO.

Well, actually it's 8 dBm offset on the F50PRO - that means it's not aggregated - as this is not a MIMO card anyway. So 19 dBm + 8 dBm offset makes you bang on the money at 27 dBm, wireless12...
