Real World Throuput test? RB511 (RIC-522)

Thu Jan 05, 2006 12:48 pm

Can anyone give me an indication what kind of real throughput I could expect to see with two of the new RIC-522 cpe devices configured as a PtP link over about 300metres(Clear LOS + no interference)

cheers

7Mbit UDP only??? isn't this the same board as the 532, only with 1 Ethernet and 1 mPCI? I thought the processing power and RF interfaces are the same.

7 MebaBYTES not 7 Megabits
7*8~56Mbps (56Megabits)

that was performance test with full duplex traffic on two rb's:

Mikrotik with 3GHZ CPU b-test --- 100Mbps FE --- RB <><>NSTREME-LINK<><> RB --- 100Mbps FE --- Windows XP machine 1,6GHz with b-test

192.168.1.21 was one RB
192.168.1.20 was second RB
bridge was transparent via WDS(ap-bridge) <-> Station-wds mode
