Do you have some exact experiences and can you suggest how many registered clients is optimal? We have som APs with more than 25-40 registered users and we have problem with ping time that is varied from 10 to 300ms, or sometimes more. Is it possible to generalize optimal number for AP? Does it depends on CPU performance? Is there difference between Artheros and Prism?

It´s depends in many factors.. some off them bw of the suscriber, type of wireless card, distance to clients, antennas, etc....
