Some cards do need 5V power supply and there are only 2 or 3 routerboards that have miniPCIe slots.
Anybody has workarounds or solutions?
I am really looking to set up a high capacity link with MT and 3x3. But the rb800 seems to be a little over the budget and has no 5V pins (only 3V and board voltage). To get 5V from the usb or serial needs soldering and that is the last I want to do on an expensive board like the rb800. Disaster waiting to happen!

So, anybody with any experiances?
What cards?
What link caracteristics? (Distance, fresnell, urban or open space etc.)
What antenna's used?
I was thinking of using Duo polorised dish antenna's combined with one mesh that I than can mount close to the dish but under an 45 degree angle. The cross-chain channel separation would be probably better this way than a triple polorized all-in-one antenna? Anybody been playing with something like this?
