We have two of the RB200 series running AP's using 2.18.x, these systems have been rock solid for over 2 years. We then went to a new tower and got a RB500 with a SR2 and version 2.19.x
This system has never run correctly, we just get flaky errors. Lots of client disconnects, lots of DeAUTH messages, some clients can't even connect a certain times.
I finally ripped out the system and replaced it with an old PC running a PCMCIA card and version 2.19.18. This seems to work OK, but still isn't as smooth as the old RB200 stuff.
I have the first generation of both the SR2 and the RB500. I think one or both of these have major flaws. Also, I am wondering if it could be 2.19.18 RB500 SW that is the issue.
Any comments or help would be great. At this point I'm getting ready to just bite the bullet and buy an old RB200 system and use that.
