P2P trouble with RB/911G-5HPnD low ccq unstable ping

Tue Dec 10, 2013 10:05 am

RB/911G-5HPnD each side 7km bridge with rocket dishes RO 5.25 on eye clear LOS and calculator say same
signal on default power level -50
Signal at 17dbm from -65 to -67 to chains is close to each one -65 second near -67
Noise floor -112
bridge wds dynamic mesh, nv2, wmm and dfs off, 2 chains set, advanced HT prio 0, distance dynamic, noise immunity both side ap and st, recalibration 00:10:00 ,hw retry 7.

Trouble is low CCQ 30-70%, ping very unstable, and pocket loss, unstable speed trouble same with channel 20 and 40 MHz ... speed near 50-mbit tcp at 20 MHz...

I’ve tested that cards before settings it on real condition and got same trouble. I've explained this short distance but I’m was wrong.

hi
your low ccq is from the high wireless noise.....your wireless settings are good but just adjust the fellowing setting in both your ptp devices and see if something change to better...

YES...something changed to better......... :)
1- be sure of elevation and direction of both ptp devices( master and slave )
2- try determine the data rate so more
3- use supper channels.

I've already used superchannel i can't configure to more precise becouse of heavy snow now i cant reach device now ...

when i set low noise floor level -128 ... my signal level boosed from -65 to that levels ...

Now i get 100 mbit mixed traffic torrent (limit of uplink as before differenc just level of signal) but CCQ still low pings unstable 4-20ms

Channel rate is limited to 180 mbit why so ? TDMA 2ms ... 1 ms low speed .. cell size 10km

Looks as a ack-timing problem
Set the dynamic distance on 8 Km to both sites

Try to use Station-bridge instead of station-wds.
Try to change the wireless frequency to different one as maybe there is interference in that area.
Upgrade the RouterOS to v6.7 and check again.
Also I would suggest to reset the wireless interface to the default value by using such command and try again if the wireless connection gets better:
/interface wireless reset-configuration wlan1

Change the distance settings from dynamic to 8km (1 km more than the real distance).

What is the distance between point A and B?

Are all chains select on wireless interface HT?
