routerboard 230 access

Sat Jun 10, 2006 12:38 pm

I was doing a complete reinstall to my routerboard to the latest version (routeros-x86 2.9.25) from 2.8.24 via a netinstall on the 64mb CF that came w/ the board using a USB reader. Now I am unable to gain access to the device via console or nic... I also tried this on a 256mb card as well and get the same results. I've noticed that i dont get the 2nd audible that the AP normally gives when it's completely booted up.

any ideas how I messed this up?

above when i mentioned console access issues i meant serial console. would the board be accessible via serial console if the OS wasnt installing properly on the CF?
