Replacing wireless card

Wed Oct 22, 2014 8:23 pm

I should replace miniPci card on my mikrotik because the power of the card is low.

Soo, what should I do before replace card, is there any advice how to do that because settings will be changed when insert a new.

Is there any solution to switch the cards and to apply setings from first (old) card to second (new) card?

# oct/23/2014 14:04:15 by RouterOS 6.15
# software id = XXXX-XXXX
#
/interface wireless
set [ find default-name=wlan1 ] adaptive-noise-immunity=ap-and-client-mode \
band=5ghz-onlyn channel-width=20/40mhz-ht-above country="czech republic" \
disabled=no distance=1 frequency=5680 hide-ssid=yes ht-ampdu-priorities=\

periodic-calibration=enabled periodic-calibration-interval=600 rate-set=\
configured ssid=NBB supported-rates-a/g=6Mbps tx-power=4 tx-power-mode=\

Then just paste this config when card replaced (maybe just rename the new card to whatever wlanX was the old one)
