slow troughput over AC link with one TCP connection

Sun Feb 01, 2015 11:34 pm

Today i make wireless link with AC. 7 km link with JRC DUPLEX antenna . Last cerrsion of ROS.

TX: 650Mbps-80MHz/2S/SGI
RX: 585Mbps-80MHz/2S/SGI

I make speedtest and with TCP and one connection i get only 6-8 Mbps.
I done test from CCR to CCR.

CCR > AP-RB912/AC mpci-e > CLIENT-RB912/AC mpci-e > CCR
A channel that I use is free and there are no interference.
Belove is results from CCR to CCR and from RB912 to RB912

CCR to CCR UDP - 350 Mbps
CCR to CCR TCP - 20 connections - 210 Mbps
CCR to CCR TCP 1 connection - 6-8 Mbps
RB912/AC to RB912/AC TCP 1 connection 45 Mbps.

Can someone tell me what is the problem. This is not first time that I have similar problem.

I figure that I have this problem only with nv2. With nstream TCP test with one connection is about 100 Mbps, but, capacity on link with nstream is 140 Mbps, with nv2 350 Mbps.

I have working AC link where I can easily get 100Mbps with a single TCP connection using NV2. Try changing the interface queues and find which one works best for your setup (try queue types, sfq, pfifo, pcq...). Note that if you change queue type (kind), you need to change interface queue or reboot to apply the change.

I have wireless-default on wlan1 interface with sfq and only-hardware-queue on ether1. AP is Netmetal 922UAGS and client SXTG-5HPacD
