We started experimenting with this on our UBNT PtP links, and I often find the 50 and 60Mhz channels boost WAY more throughput than 80.

80Mhz is just TOO MUCH sometimes, so using just one 50 or 60Mhz channel works 300% better. We're basically SOL with Mikrotik though, if 80Mhz doesn't work well, then we're just STUCK having to use 40Mhz? Then back to square one, with just a tad bit more bandwidth than 802.11n, and lose any advantage of a powerful AC channel.

Mikrotik did implement 5,and 10Mhz channels, are their any plans hopefully on 30, 50, and 60Mhz channels? I believe most of us will get much better performance from our PtP's!!!
