Editing Multiple Devices Notifications

Mon Jun 11, 2018 5:56 am

was messing around with my Telegram Notification and noticed that after reenabling it it is now not active on almost any of my devices. My devices have a dependency tree so that all devices behind the router have that router identified as their "parent" but if there is connectivity and one device/service goes down (i only use ping and routeros management probes) I want any and all devices to send me a "down" message. I removed "up" because I was getting repetitive messages throughout the day and it was annoying. I just want down on all and I dont want to have to manually edit 100+ devices

also... why is it that when I reboot my dude router lots of thing i have deleted come back. example the default probes, especially that dang 50:50 one and also the devices (I only keep RouterOS and "Some Device"). Anyway to permanently delete these?

Found a way...

open a map, select everything on the map right click settings

so i only had to do that 11 times no biggie.

also for anyone that reads this.

up -> down

doesnt really happen

instead use
up -> unstable
unstable -> down
etc
etc

to cover your bases
