Server monitoring itself

Fri Aug 17, 2018 9:59 am

Hi
I'm little late to the show but am now focusing on getting The dude up and running
The first thing that I noticed is that the RB on which I have installed The Dude ex. CCR1009 or hEX
isn't accessible from on my network map : The dude can't seem to connect to the server itself
I have surely overlooked something during my research; can someone please point me in the right direction ?
Thanks
regards
yann

Probably access is blocked by defconf firewall rule
/ip firewall filter add chain=input action=drop in-interface-list=!LAN comment="defconf: drop all not coming from LAN"

Hi DVM

Thanks for your response

Silly me, I should have checked more thoroughly

For some reason the Dude server got caught by one of our firewall rules
and was qualified as port scanner (present in an address list)

cheers
