Monitoring a Simple Q

Wed Oct 03, 2018 7:40 pm

Hi,

I am totally new to this, and not a coder of any type, and in need of some guidance on monitoring a Simple Q and getting some history of up / downloads of this Q in Dude.

What I have done so far is:
Created a Static Item with name of the Simple Q I want to monitor
Added a link between the Router and the Static Item
In the label of the link, I have added the following
Download: [oid("1.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.2.1.1.8.18","5","300","<IP Address>","<snmp community>")] Mb
Upload: [oid("1.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.2.1.1.9.18","5","300","<IP Address>","<snmp community>)] Mb
Queues Down: [oid("1.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.2.1.1.12.18","5","300","<IP Address>","<snmp community>")]
Queues Up: [oid("1.3.6.1.4.1.14988.1.1.2.1.1.13.18","5","300","<IP Address>","<snmp community>")]
My understanding of the above parameters are:
1. parameter: # of OID to get
2. parameter: Cache time in seconds
3. parameter: Negative cache time in minutes
4. parameter: Device IP
5. parameter: SNMP profile

It is giving me some info but the bytes in / out seems to be in bytes, how do I format this to be in Mb?

Also, I don't know if I am totally off track in the way I am doing this.

Thanking you in advance
