Non-RouterOS wireless SNMP readings

Thu Jan 30, 2020 10:07 pm

I would like to be able to monitor a network that has a lot of different vendors' radios in it, with Mikrotik routing but others' radios. When a RouterOS devivce is monitored, the SNMP display has a nice Wireless tab. Is there a way to use that tab or someething like it for other radios? Or is that function reserved for RouterOS? If I can't, what's the best way to display selected wireless OIDs? Thanks.

You can display any OID value on a device map tile by modifying it's appearance settings.

Right click and Device on your map -> Appearance -> Label

You can use Insert OID to get an example to put a specific OID into or (having setup SNMP for that device) select the one you want from the list.
