Device not responding

We have some devices just say Device (Not responding - Spinning Circle) in the client in 6.47 when you click on the device in the map and the menu on the right is missing.
Other devices work fine. The client is locked up and when you X the device it says dude is not responding requiring a restart. Anything to check for?

Found a temporary workaround elsewhere in this topic.
Delete the Device and Redo .. !!!! No more crashes... . works long enough to change the name where the program is useful.
What a shame.
