Sending SNMP trap to run Script

Could anybody help to how can i make a tool on my Dude server to run a script on a connected router. I try this by I don't know why it's not working.

snmpset -c public -v 1 [Device.FirstAddress] s 1

I admittedly do not know anything about your setup, but looking at that command, it appears that you are trying to do an SNMP SET using the community string "public". By default "public" is a READ ONLY community on every device I've had anything to do with, so that could be the cause of it not working. Try using a community string that has WRITE permission on the target device.
