many reasons I could think of off the top of my head atm

import from a DB perhaps created by another network monitoring program you might be trying to replace because like most network admin's you don't have time to rely on "hoping discovery works" or manually adding 1200+ devices

don't really think i should list the other 20+ reasons i can think of off the top of my head ...

IMHO it would be a very time saving feature...

...the list goes on and on :)

There is export/import function, when you want to transfer Dude configuration.
As well you can use autodiscovery and add all hosts to the table manually.

Hi
I have little trick for that.
Open a web connection to your Dude, logon
Open device page, select all , copy and paste in Notepad or XML Notepad.
You have a copy but in static way. :?
have nice day

We need a way to import a device list from an external source. I have Multiple networks that would take forever to try and auto discover and then go in and edit each device to display properly. What we need is an excel macro that will output a proper xml file. Anybody that is good with Excel macros and xml out there willing to tackle this?? I know it's possible because a friend of mine did the same for creating a Google maps plotter. Unfortunately he is to busy to tackle a new project like this in the near future.

Another way, print device list in pdf format, open de file .pdf, select all, cut and paste.
