The possibility to view in tabular form all routerboad configurations!

I.e. see AT A GLANCE in all routerboard if:
1. bgp have 'distribute connected'
2. wlan have 'default forward' disabled

etc. etc.

you can already do that.
get this information from SNMP and put it on the device icon label in Dude.

it is not the same.
i write only two examples but it is good to have all the configuration in a tabular form.
for a large network it is not possibile to scan device icon.

but...you can do that if you permit to insert in a grid snmp values (instead only in icons)

Exactly, we have made our voice heard (open source, more betas, etc) but they have a direction and it is what they want to do. The truth is it is still a great product. If your business model requires a free product to get the job done maybe you should examine your business model... The information provided by the dude is still very valuable and there is a work around for almost every shortcoming. The fact that they don't charge for it is great. I have nothing but respect for them for giving the Dude away. I support the Dude in its current form and in the future, until then here is to getting it working the way it is. Hip Hip HOORAY!

I must say that if The Dude wasn't free I wouldn't have tried it in the first place. And now it's the most essential tool for network monitoring and managenent to me that I'd gladly pay for. Given it's still maintained of course. So surely I expect it to improve and evolve. I think mikrotik can have quite an advantage against other vendors because of The Dude alone. Dude is too big and important already to become abbandonware. So lets show them that we need it and hope they move.

Rodolfo, sorry for hijacking your thread with the other stuff but why not just build probes so any time a setting is wrong the device changes color?

Also create a panel that has the services on it so when ever it gets opened the sort order is remembered.

I understand it is not even close to what was described but the bottom line is making sure things are correct and that can be done.

I'd like to see the Dude backup devices, or send commands to multiple devices. Something like CatTools, but built into Dude. The ability to mass upgrade devices is really useful.

I think the Dude is one of the best products, and am looking forward to the new version this year.
