Hi,

I run several sites that we monitor with the dude. I have configuration on the dude thats installed in the router at the site. as well as a matching configuartion that i use on the dude locally to monitor with. however for some reason the dude that is installed on the router keeps losing its configuration and i was wondering how or why this happens. I would like to be able to rememdy this as soon as possible. I have not found anything via google. so im turning here in hopes that someone might have experienced this before and can share what steps they have taken to resolve the issue.

The only stop gap i can see at this time is to make backups of the dude configuration for each site and restore them when this happens.

Id be willing to bet there is a hardware issue with the storage memory. id swap the device and see if the problem goes away.
