error-graphs-snmp

Tue Nov 12, 2013 3:58 pm

Hello!!

some time I'm using THE DUDE and a few days ago appeared a problem with snmp graphs.
The graph shows the consumption*2 (twice).
Is this a known issue or am I doing something wrong? look the picture...

The 16 bit counters are rolling over, there is no way for Dude to use 32 bit counters but you can manually build a probe to use counters, check out gsandul's post about determine if an interface is down... Some learning is in order (maybe lots).

Hello TachinOli,

maybe you have change the Labelf Refresh Interval a few days ago? I've noticed when you decreased the Label Refresh Intervall you also decreased the bitrate showed up in the History.

@lebowski:
I don't think that this problem is issued in the 16bit snmp counters, because there is no gap in the graph.
