Autolayout not working

Hi All
I am trying to make a network map which shows the layouts / links between routers etc on the network.
However when I set it to scan a subnet (which I am connected to, which includes a router) and then to scan 5 hops, It just scans the current subnet and doesnt seem to 'look' at the mikrotik router within that subnet to find more subnets / hops to scan.
The result is that all devices within my chosen subnet only appear as devices aligned in a grid and not in groups as I have seen others create.
Any ideas as to what I might be doing wrong?
