Dude and File Sharing Problem

Mon Jan 12, 2015 10:08 pm

I install dude as Syslog Server. In my computer I shared the folder i call it Drive "J" for other system for sharing purposes.

As long as dude in not running, there is no problem. but when i start Dude everything goes wrong. My share Drive on other computers will die and there would be no network sharing or printer sharing for other system.
So where is my mistake and what should I do?

Maybe your sharing settings are not smart enough to handle the logging activities. Have you tried to store logs on local machine and read them from the other side if necessary? Why do you save logs on remote share?

I'm using Win XP and it doesn't have any particular settings. Also when using dude there would be no sharing and also I cant access other system.
I'm in internet cafe and I would like to store webproxy logs.
is there any way?

Store it locally on the same machine where dude runs.
